— The big idea —

They come for the adventure. They leave with sharper minds.

Wrapped in the mess and magic of the outdoors, children build the habits to:

Spot when they're being led
Ask the questions others don't
Resist the easy answer
Stand apart when it counts
Change their minds
— A grand reveal, every week —

Meet our Mystery Guests

A character from history or fiction bursts into The Park each day to bring a thinking trap to life,
in glorious, immersive technicolour.

Ooga Ooga

Sees everything in black and white.

Reveal

Ooga Ooga is our caveman host and if he has a superpower, it’s survival. He thinks fast – but only in Black & White: danger! safety! friend! foe! Ooga Ooga helps us to see how this way of thinking pushes us to extremes, sparks conflict, and hides nuance.

We learn to spot when our inner caveman takes the wheel and use questions to wrest back control - swapping black-and-white thinking for full-colour curiosity.

Socrates

Teaches us to mistrust certainty.

Reveal

Socrates is still remembered today as one of the smartest men to have lived. And yet he said, “the only thing I know is I know nothing.”

He understood that life is messy, contradictory, and that certainty can signal ignorance. With Socrates as our guide, we’ll learn to question certainty — our own and other people’s — and to embrace the power of an open, curious mind.

Egyptian Pyramid

Reveals the power, and danger, of stories.

Reveal

Stories have the power to entertain, teach, unite. And our host this week is an Egyptian pyramid: proof of what we can achieve when a story pulls us in the same direction.

But stories can mute our scepticism. We believe things because the story feels good — not because it's true.

Through playful challenges, we help the kids to pause at a magnetic story and ask smart questions before believing it.

After the Mystery Show, children enter The Socratic Playground: a world of games, stories and challenges where they learn to spot the thinking trap, question it, and defend against it — using the power of questions.

Big ideas. Big characters. Thinking habits for life.

What does a typical day look like at The Park?

Sessions run from 9am-4pm daily

9:00

Mystery Guest Reveal

Our Mystery Guest brings comic panto energy to the start of each day, telling the next part of their story and bringing the week’s thinking trap to life.

9:30

Socratic Playground

A morning of games, mysteries and adventures, each one helping the kids recognise the week's thinking trap, wherever it hides. By Friday, they spot it a mile off.

13:00

Dragon Slaying

Questions are the weapon here, first to fend off the thinking trap, then to cut through to sharper thinking - and soon asking great questions becomes second nature.

14:15

Magic Maths

From dodgy statistics to compound effects and probability, kids use maths to spot patterns others miss — and catch the week's thinking trap from a whole new angle.

How do we make the learning stick?

We use 8 principles from psychology, memory science and habit formation to keep the learning alive long after the kids leave The Park:

The enjoyment of each week ranks equal to impact and we gather feedback from every child.
